Junky Music’s own DedFre$h is the epitome of rebirth; leaving the competition lifeless while giving them something to grow on. Born in the land of anomalies known as Bermuda; Fre$h has adopted his native lands personality by bringing exotic originality to Hip-Hop, while remaining an enigma. Now residing in College Park, GA, DedFre$h is walking through the door that 2 Chainz opened on the SouthSide of Atl, and cementing his own movement. With a sound like no other, and enough confidence to say Fuxk Swag, the entertainment industry is guaranteed to wanna be DedFre$h.

DedFre$h began articulating his craft with words and rhythm in the third grade as a student writer for his elementary school’s Black History play. Fre$h, in fact, says that his entire life, he has written about life in all its varying facets and trials. Upon graduation from high school, DedFre$h enlisted in the U.S. Army, where his vernacular would be put to a much greater use. During basic training and his deployment to Iraq, DedFre$h would write poems and letters to his comrades family members and significant others in their name, hoping that his words would touch their hearts with compassion, reassuring love and safety for distant hearts and minds while highlighting the grim ups and downs of boot camp and war.

Eventually those dear Sally and John letters transitioned into music; lyrics, melodies, and notes. In 2006, DedFre$h recorded his first verse in a closet studio in Atlanta. DedFre$h says he fell in love with music the instant he had an mp3 version of his song and played it for anybody who would listen.
